Lobia Dip Recipe

Paneer 65

Paneer 65 is a starter recipe which is very simple and easy to make. This is a Hyderabadi cuisine. This is a spicy, delicious and semi dry recipe.

Ingredients:

For Batter-

300 gram Paneer into cubes
2 tablespoons Corn flour
1 tablespoon Maida
1 tablespoon Rice flour
1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
½ tsp. Garam Masala
½ tsp. Black Pepper Crushed
1 teaspoon Lemon juice
4 tablespoons Water
5 teaspoons Oil

For Tampering-

3 tbsp. Chopped Onion
2 teaspoons Ginger garlic paste
6 Curry Leaves
1 tablespoon Chilly sauce
1 tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
1 tablespoon curd
1 tablespoon Oil
2 Green chillies slit
Salt to taste

Instructions:

Marination—

For Marination make better of ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, salt, maida, corn flour and rice flour in a bowl and mix well.


Add lemon juice, red chilly powder, garam masala, pepper powder and water to make the thick, smooth batter.
Now add paneer cubes, gently mix with batter. Cover and allow to marinate for 30 minutes.
Heat good amount of oil in a pan on medium heat. Once hot add paneer pieces. Keep some space between the paneer cubes so that they don’t stick. Fry till they are crispy and golden brown from all the sides. Drain the fried paneer and keep on paper towel.


Making Paneer 65 –

In the same pan heat 1 tablespoon oil on medium heat. Once hot add ginger garlic paste, curry leaves, and green chillies. Stir well.
Now add chopped onion. Saute till the raw smell goes away.
Then add all sauces, curd, salt and immediately stir so the curd does not curdle. Stir well.
Now add fried paneer cubes to the sauce and mix well to coat all the pieces. Switch off the flame.
Serve this paneer 65 hot as a starter.

Tips :

1.     You can add a little bit orange colour.
2.     If you want add ¼ tsp. sugar at the time of making paneer 65, it tastes good.
3.     If you don’t want to deep fry paneer, you can air fry at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes.
