Cheese Garlic Toast

This is a quick breakfast or evening snack recipe. This is a simple bread toast recipe with the flavour of freshly grated garlic with melted cheese and butter. Spice it up with red chilli flakes and herbs. You can use any type of bread for this. I have used simple white bread and cheese spread here. You can use mozzarella cheese or processed cheese.

Garlic Toast

Ingredients:

4 slices of white bread
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp garlic finely chopped
½ tsp. mixed herb
½ tsp. red chilli flakes
2 tbsp. grated cheese (Mozzarella) or cheese spread

Instructions:

1. Heat a pan on medium flame. Add butter and garlic pieces. Roast them until butter completely melt.


2. Toast your bread slices with the help of your toaster on stove tawa. Remove bread when it is toasted golden brown in color.
3. Apply garlic butter on them.
4. Then apply cheese spread or sprinkle grated cheese.
5. Sprinkle herb and red chilli flakes on slices.
6. Place again on tawa. Cover with lid and toast on the low flame until cheese melts.
7. If you are using oven, bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees C/356 degrees F, for 7 to 8 minutes or till the cheese melts.
8. Serve with tomato ketchup.
9. This taste great when served hot.
