Potato Corn Cheese Ball | Corn Cheese Balls

Potato Corn Cheese Balls  are cheesy, delicious and easy to make recipe. They are prepared from a mixture of potatoes, corn, cheese and spices. These corn cheese balls can be prepare within minutes if you have boiled potatoes and corn in your fridge. The goodness of cheese makes them a perfect delight.

Potato Corn Cheese Balls

To make potato corn cheese balls, you need boiled potatoes, boiled corn, cheese and spices like black pepper, red chilli powder. Corn flour and all purpose flour are added to bind them. Ginger paste and oregano herbs give an amazing flavor. You can deep fry or bake them. You may coat them with bread crumbs or corn flour slurry. You can freeze the mixture and fry them later.



These yummy corn cheese balls can be served as a snack or appetizer. They can be prepared for any party or get together. Cheese lovers will definitely love this recipe. These balls can be enjoyed with any dip or sauce.

Ingredients:

1 cup sweet corn, boiled and grinded
2 potatoes, boiled and grated
½ cup cheese, grated
1 green chilli, chopped
1 tbsp. corn flour
2 tbsp. maida (refined flour)
½ tsp. oregano herbs
A small pinch baking soda
¼ tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. ginger paste
salt to taste
1/4 tsp. red chili powder

Instructions:

Peel and grate boil potatoes. Grind boiled corns without adding any water.
Take potatoes in a bowl. Add corn, grated cheese and green chilli.


Add corn flour, maida, herbs, baking soda, black pepper powder, ginger paste, salt and red chilli powder.


Mix and mash them using your finger. Apply oil on your hand and make small and smooth balls from them.


Heat oil in a pan on medium to high flame. Drop balls in oil gently. Stir continuously so that they can cook from all sides.


Lower the flame and cook till they become golden brown in colour.


Remove them from oil and keep them on an absorbent paper.
Serve them with your favorite dip.


Tips:

  • Add flour in right proportion. If they burst in oil, add some flour. Too much flour make them hard.
  • Grind corn without water. Extra soft mixture tend to break easily in the oil.
  • You can use any type of cheese like mozzarella or processed.
  • You may add coriander leaves.
