Sprouts have many health benefits. They are full of vitamins, minerals and proteins. Sprouts contain a lot of fibres and water so they are helpful in constipation. Sprouts are an extremely inexpensive method of obtaining a concentration of minerals and enzymes.

The plus point of this recipe is that the ingredients depend on your preference and availability. I have used capsicum, tomatoes, onion, cabbage in veggies and coconut chutney, tomato ketchup in sauces. You can use chutney and vegetables of your choices or which are available in your kitchen.

Course:  Snacks
Cuisine:  North Indian
Prep. Time:  5 minutes
Cook Time:  10 minutes

Shredded cabbage
Chopped capsicum
Some chopped tomatoes
Chopped onion
Paneer, grated
Salt to taste
Some red chilli powder

Tomato ketchup

Wash sprouts properly with water.

Grind to make a smooth paste.

Add salt, black pepper powder and red chilli powder.

Add required amount of water to make a batter consistency.

Heat a tawa on medium flame. Grease it lightly with few drops of oil. When tawa is hot, pour a ladleful of batter on the surface of tawa in the center and spread it gently using the backside of a ladle or small bowl.

Spread some drops of oil around the edges of cheela and cook on a low flame.

Meanwhile add shredded cabbage, capsicum, tomato and onion.

Grate some paneer. Sprinkle salt and red chilli powder.

Add coconut chutney and tomato ketchup.

Scrap the chilla from sides and roll.

Cut from the center and serve with your favorite chutney or sauce.

Tips:

  • You can add chopped onion in the batter of cheela.
  • You can also add carrot, broccoli, boiled potatoes or corn.
  • You can use any type of chutney or sauce in stuffing.
  • If you are making it vegan skip paneer.
  • Adjust spices to your taste. You can add chopped green chilli to make this spicy. But if you are preparing this for kids, skip it.

Lobia Dip Recipe

Lobia Dip Recipe  "Move over hummus! Discover the rich, nutty flavors of our Zesty Lobia Dip . Lobia dip (Black-Eyed Pea dip) ( लोबिआ डिप ) is the underrated, protein-packed cousin of hummus that deserves a spot in your snack rotation. Often called "Texas Caviar" in its chunky form, this creamy version transforms the humble black-eyed pea into a silky, savory spread that’s both earthy and bright. Unlike chickpeas, which have a fairly neutral profile, lobia (black-eyed peas) offers a distinctively nutty, slightly smoky depth. When whipped, it creates a texture that is dense yet fluffy. If you’re looking to go beyond the basics, lobia dip is truly a "fusion" powerhouse. It sits at the intersection of Southern American soul food, Indian home cooking, and Middle Eastern mezze culture. Why it’s the "Modern" Choice? In a world of hummus fatigue, lobia dip stands out because it’s: Lectin-Light: Some find black-eyed peas easier to digest than other legumes...
